Subject: Muslim is not a race it’s a religion …
Rosa Parks school:
“… with a melting pot of white, African American, Latino and Muslim students.”
Interesting also that “white” is not capitalized. Would Black had been capitalized? And, does that mean the all Blacks have African heritage that live on the American continent? Must not have Asian, Native Americans, Buddhist, maybe not Christians and forsure couldn’t have the mixed identities.
Might it be more effective to say … melting pot of racial, national, and religous identities?
I’m working on a diversity trainings targeted by industry and I’ll be using this article as one of the news articles for thier take home assignment.
Thank you to this writer and for the service this publication provides the world.
